Praetorian Services is fully licensed and insured (Florida License B 3100374) and offers a wide range of Security Services in the Greater Orlando area, including Armed Security Guards, Unarmed Security Guards, Roving Security Patrols in business parks and HOAs, Gate Attendant Security and Event Security.
The Praetorian Services story began in 2014, when Mr. Todd Eddy formed a security guard training school, Eddy’s Security Training, located off Semoran Blvd. in Orlando, Florida. Running Eddy’s Security Training for 8-years gave Mr. Eddy an incredible insight into the security industry. It also came to light during those years that there was a serious need for a security services company that followed the rule of law and put the client’s safety, needs, and liabilities at the forefront. Therefore, utilizing the knowledge they had acquired after many successful years running Eddy’s Security Training, the decision was made to branch out into Security Services and Praetorian Services was formed in 2021. Fostering many relationships developed through its sister company Eddy’s Security Training, with its students and clients, Praetorian Services strives to improve the security industry though rigorous training and going above the minimum state requirements to send highly educated people into the workforce and provide top-notch security services to the people of Central Florida.
Owner / Founder of Eddy’s Security Training school, was once a licensed private investigator and later an extradition officer with U.S. Prisoner Transport. Mr. Eddy was an extradition officer, then quickly rose to the role of FTO (Field Training Officer) with U.S.P.T., handling state and federal inmates. Mr. Eddy owned several businesses throughout his years in the workforce as well.
